Reflection [4/9/08]
Hmmm... I am sure you will want to know what happened today.
Well, Pam did not had much homework to do today. She had a worksheet which she had to fill in the activities that require water. I racked my brain and came up with a few such as gardening, washing of utensils and sports day.
Upon completing the worksheet, she did her corrections for her english worksheet. She did not score well for her 'grammar test'. For example, the past participle of 'have' is 'having' . The word 'having' is formed by removing the letter 'e' and adding the 'ing' to the word 'have'. However, she spelt the word as 'haveing' instead of 'having'. I corrected her by teching her that words ending with 'ing' will have to have the letter 'e' removed.
Due to the errors she committed in the 'grammar test', she haad to do her corrections ten times for each of the incoreect word. I really pity her. I think that her teacher should not have asked her to do the corrections ten times. In my opinion, I think that understanding the concept of past participle and others is more important and useful than copying the corrections ten times. This is because the student may just copy blindly and repeat similar mistake.
