9/4/08...(Tuyan)
This was the second time i visited the center and this time i was assigned to teach the lower primary students,
(because my tutee last week was stolen by another person...Grrr...)
First Tutee: JACK
At first, he appeared quite shy and non-responsive.
Of course, that made me quite worried as i feared that he might just keep to himself for the entire tutoring session. Cause then we won't be able to accomplish much, and end up just sitting there in stony silence.
Hoping to get him to open up, i conversed with him in an (extremely) enthusiastic voice and asked him about his interests.
It seemed that my worries were quite unneeded, because once he started to share his interests (about what catching flies and lizards and cockroaches), he got a little over excited and then there was the trouble of getting him to go back to doing his homework.
All in all, it was fun interacting with him, although it really wans't easy teaching him, because he got distracted at every other teeny-tiny thing.=.=
Lol, at least now i know how the teacher feels in class when the class just want to do everything other then learn what he's trying to teach.
Haha!!
